Who are heedless of their prayer |

Those who wish to be seen |

But refuse small kindnesses

Indeed, it is your tormentor who is cut off.

And you are not worshippers of what I serve |

And I will not be a worshipper of what you serve |

When the help of God comes, and victory |

And you see humanity entering the religion of God in crowds |

Then glorify by praise of- your Lord and ask His forgiveness |

Surely He is Ever-Merciful |

And from the evil of the envious one when he envies

To Him belongs what is in the heavens and the earth |

Who is it that intercedes with Him except by His permission? |

YA’-LAMU MAA BAYNA AYDIIHIM WA MAAKHALFAHUM WA LA YAHIITUUNA BI-SHAYIN MIN 'ILMIHI ILLA BI-MA SHAA'A |
He knows what is before them arid what is behind then, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except as He willed. |

WASI 'A KURSIYYUHU2S-SAMAWATI WA2L-ARD WA LAA YA'UUDUHU HIFZUHUMA |
His throne extends over the heavens and the earth and their preservation does not tire Him |

And He is the Exalted, the Tremendous. |

**End Notes about the Islamic prayer.
1. For the SunnAt (optional) prayers (which may be either two or four Rak’ats,) both or all four of the Rak’ats are preceded by verses from the Qur’an.
2. For the Fard (obligatory) prayers (which may be two, three or four Rak’ats,) when there are more than two Rak’ats, only the first two have the Qur’anic verse/Surah after the Fatiha. If there are only two ruku’s, both of them have the Fatiha plus Qur’anic verse/Surah.
