The Jerrahi Order funded Iftar meals for local poor families and refugees in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, offered by the Culture and Free Thought Association (CFTA). The first iftar was held on 1 August, 2012, and was attended by some 170 persons, including children and their parents, orphans, and some elderly. The menu included dates, rice, chicken, yogurt, and drinks.
